GDPR and Data Protection
At Brandles School, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our pupils, parents, carers, staff and wider school community. We recognise the importance of treating personal information with care and respect and take our responsibilities for data protection seriously.
We collect, use, store and share personal information only where it is appropriate and lawful to do so. We have procedures in place to help ensure that the information we hold is kept safe, secure and confidential, and we regularly review our policies and practices to ensure they continue to meet current data protection requirements.
The school has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee our approach to data protection and to provide advice and support on the way personal information is managed.
